The Whole Truth

BLINDED BY LUST Muddling through the rubble of what I deemed to be life, I desperately tried to find my way through. I always had confidence in the fact that I knew what scriptures to recite, what prayers to pray, and how to be an active participant in church. I believed I was living the life God had destined for me to live, until one day I woke up to the realization that I was living life according to my own devices. What I mean by that is, oftentimes in this life we are given a word of prophecy or things are spoken over our lives concerning what’s to come. When we receive these words, we get excited and anticipate the day of fulfillment. Yet when time shows itself and the word of prophecy has not come to pass, it’s easy to get frustrated, doubtful, anxious, lose heart, and even fall victim to self pursuance. In doing so, we strive to bring to pass what God has already promised that He would do. By Daniele Cooper
