The Whole Truth

WORSHIP AND USE YOUR EXPERIENCE TO ENCOURAGE OTHERS There is wisdom in pressing forward in Christ. One way to do so is by intentionally encouraging others and by worshipping. On my journey through grief, worship was essential. Worship was medicine for my heart and mind. I learned that I must breathe in God’s presence to heal, so I allowed God’s beautiful gift of worship into my life. At one time, I could not participate in worship while at church or in my home but in time, God taught me how to worship and to understand that as I worship Him, my mindset shifts and my perspective changes. Worship can push each of us into our destiny and cleanse us of past negativity. We can then acknowledge that there is a message in our mess. Worship heals wounds and breaks generational curses. Worship lets us hear God and God hear us. Worship conveys that we are grateful and victorious through Him. “God heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147:3) . When we worship, we must do so with our entire, complete heart and with the true knowledge of His Holy Word. “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth” (John 4:24). GOD RESTORES “And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you” (1 Peter 5:10 ESV). God knows what is possible when we place our trust in Him completely. He longs for each of us to understand the value of letting go, resting, and growing our faith in Him. He sees and desires for us to see that we are completely safe when we are in relationship with Him. No matter your struggles on the journey of grief, God is calling you to let go of all the pain and to have faith in Him. God is in full control. “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,’ declares the Lord. ‘As the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:8-9).
